Today I received my latest Elsa Nendoroid, a chibi styled figure from the Good Smile Company from the online retailer, Big Bad Toy Store, where I get all my figure pre-orders. I pre-ordered Elsa last year and was delighted that she didn’t endure any delays like my previous pre orders, arriving exactly when she was due, this May! My previous Nendoroid, Wind Waker Link, was so delayed I even forgot I pre-ordered him in the end.
It’s always worth it for the lovely quality and attention to detail these figures hold. As a kid I always dreamed of being able to afford proper Japanese figures that have paint on exactly the parts there needs to be paint, where they actually look exactly like the characters they’re depicting and now I can! My collection is small compaired to most but it keeps on growing. Sadly I don’t own a figure cabinet yet so whenever they do arrive, they get carefully packed away in boxes. I’ll be treating myself to a glass cabinet from Ikea after Kitacon in July and I can’t wait to have fun picking what figure goes where and in what poses! As the best thing about Nendoroids is being able to pose them..
I decided to take some photos of my Nendoroids, including my petite ones, when Elsa arrived today. I’ll also be doing a review of Elsa on my blog and more figures in the future so look out for that!
All photos taken by me on my Canon EOS1100D, full set can be found here.
Want to buy your first Nendoroid? Here are my personal favourite sites to order them from. Please never purchase them from sites like ebay or even at conventions, as they’ll more than likely be bootleg and not official Good Smile Products.
